Fiona Airmid
is on-hand to guide you towards a cure to the epidemic
"Groove Syndrome."

|
What is Epidemic Groove?
It's a cool new
action/strategy hybrid for Windows, where you'll
assemble microscopic structures to cure a worldwide
epidemic.
 |
In Construction Phase,
you'll build defensive walls, medical lasers,
repair pylons, and electrified fences to create
an impenetrable structure. |
 |
In Invasion Phase,
you'll use those defenses and your reflexes
to fend off the myriad pathogens that make up
Groove Syndrome. |
|
Assess
the Threat
| By June 20th,
1995, the Epidemic
"Groove Syndrome" has spread to millions
throughout the world. Professor Fiona Airmid isolates
the pathogens responsible, and discovers that they
cause brain cells to enter a dormant state. She theorizes
that a building a nanomechanical defensive grid might
be the only cure to a now-global threat. |
 |
Construct a Defense
| The GomoMedical
Facility creates
a makeshift lab to test her theory. Scientists construct
a defensive structure out of sub-microscopic components
-- electrified walls, medical lasers, and tiny
repair pylons -- in hopes of finding some way
to protect the fragile brain cells from attack. |
 |
Repel the Disease
In a controlled
experiment, pathogens are released on the structure
to test it out. Hopes are shattered as the disease
tears through the nanomechanical defenses. Refusing
to admit defeat, Professor Airmid calls the world's
leading expert on nanomechanical research to create
a structure that will hold off the pathogens and cure
the disease that threatens billions.
