Aaaaa! Semi-Sequel’s Unscientific Take on Nomenclature: Help Name Our Levels

// November 7th, 2011 // Awesome, Competitions, Dejobaan News

STEP 1: Name a level.

STEP 2: Win dangerous things.

While Dejobaan’s cooking up steamy new levels for the semi-sequel to Aaaaa!, we thought we’d open it up to our fans to name a few of them. The prize? A free copy of the game!

A side joke within the original game was that each level had a peculiar name. The seemingly random “This is How You Land a Flying Nun” or “You Are the Babbage Engine” along with the entirely relevant “Focus on Partial Nudity” (where there were suggestive banners) were some of them.

So, we’re now asking fans to help come up with names for new ones.

Here are five levels. Their names can be relevant to the photos or totally random. Your choice:

#1
#B
#-3
Number Four
#55555

The winning name for each level will net its creator a free Steam code for the upcoming release. Please email only one (1) title per screenshot to jpolson@dejobaan.com. The deadline is 11:59pm EST on November 13, 2011.

Speaking of codes, we have one left to hand out to the winner of the fan-chosen Banner Ad competition, which was #10 — “Green Onions.” Congratulations, Kate! You’ve earned yourself a key to the future!

For those of you wondering, we imagine that an indie Neo-Tokyo future might look like this:

Only, we’re not going to put all those banners into one level. Yikes.
